A sub‑account lets someone else shop with SpendGhost on your funds, capped by an allowance you control. Great for a kid's monthly budget, a partner's shared spending, or a teammate's supplies — without handing over your whole balance.

How it works

1

Add a sub-account

Tell the ghost who to add and how much they can spend.

"add my son with a $100 monthly allowance" "give my teammate (415) 555‑0142 a $250 one‑time budget"

2

They text the ghost on their own

They get their own conversation and shop just like you do — find something, get a quote, confirm.

3

The allowance keeps spending in bounds

Every order checks against their remaining limit. They can't go over, and it always draws from your balance.

Allowance types

Recurring

A budget that refreshes each period — like $100 every 30 days. Perfect for a steady allowance.

One-time

A single lifetime cap that doesn't reset — like a $250 budget for a project or a season.

Staying in control

You manage every sub‑account from your dashboard or by asking the ghost:

  • Pause / resume"pause my son's allowance"
  • Change the amount or period"bump my teammate to $400 a month"
  • Remove"remove my son's sub‑account"
Note

The sub‑account holder only ever sees their own conversation and limit — never your balance, orders, or anyone else's details.
