Want to treat someone without guessing what they'd like? Send them gift credit. They text SpendGhost like anyone else and spend it on whatever they want — you just set the amount.
How it works
Tell the ghost who and how much
"send $50 of credit to (415) 555‑0142"
The recipient gets a friendly heads‑up that they've got credit waiting.
They shop like normal
They text the ghost, find something, and check out — their gift credit covers it, up to the amount you sent.
You're billed only when they buy
Nothing leaves your balance until they actually order something. Unspent credit costs you nothing.
Gift credit doesn't expire, and whatever the recipient orders ships within the US, same as any SpendGhost order.
Gift credit is one‑time — set it and forget it. If you want an ongoing limit that refreshes (for a kid or a teammate), use a sub‑account allowance instead.
Keeping track
You can see gift credit you've sent — and whether it's been used — in your dashboard, or just ask the ghost.
